The room was nicely furnished with a beautiful selection of coffees etc, all the comforts, for example and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel was placed in the secluded location in a quiet area outside of Edinburgh. What's more, it was near South Queensferry nearby, many wonderful castles and attractions, and outskirts of Edinburgh.
A bit hot room, I was a little disappointed.

Really good Scottish breakfast served with local ingredients.
Unfortunately, the room felt slightly cramped at times, which detracted from our overall experience. I found the location a bit difficult to access due to unclear direction signs. Finally, the noise from outside was noticeable at night and made it challenging to sleep well.

I stayed one night in a cozy One-Bedroom Suite. Breakfast was amazing, served in our private sitting area. The hosts really know their stuff about local walks to Midhope Castle and Hopetoun. Plus, chatting with the hostess was a nice touch before heading to the airport. I'd definitely come back!

The place was excellent. We were treated like family with James sharing lots of great stories about the area and he made the best breakfast. The room was cozy and had everything we needed including snacks and drinks. I could relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings, perfect after a long drive.
It wasn't cheap but well worth the experience.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of choices made to order. Being so close to Midhope Castle added to the charm, and we loved strolling through the beautiful estate grounds. James was accommodating.
In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly activities would enhance our stay.

Staying in the One-Bedroom Suite was a delight, especially with the beautiful view of deer grazing outside. Snacks were plentiful and thoughtfully stocked. The room felt a bit chilly at night, which detracted from overall comfort, and navigating the location with GPS was not straightforward. Still, the breakfast offered a fantastic selection and quality that stood out .

Luxury stay with friendly vibes
We enjoyed 3 nights in a cozy suite. Everything was great, with fresh snacks and drinks always on hand. Loved the outdoor dining area for breakfast! Got to chat with James, he's super knowledgeable about the area. Just wish the parking was a bit easier to navigate, but it's a small trade-off for such a lovely retreat.
